Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Is it consider a theft if a person is stop between the set of doors and not outside with .unpaid merchandise

if you have passed the registers and have not paid it is possible to prove theft. between the doors is in the process of exiting. other actions will also make a difference ( was the murchandise hidden, was it under your control, etc) it is also possible to prove shoplifting even if you have not reached the registers or left the store (more difficult but can be done)
