Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Theft of Service
I have just had a collector promise to come and arrest me or my husband today I don't pay a dentis $400 past due bill. The dentist never completed the service and has in his possession $1500 worth of crowns. The dentist was charged with indecency with a child and I never went back. Can I be arrested?

No, it is a civil matter. However, debt collector has violated the law. You can sue them.
