Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

Theft

I work in a municipal court and a co-worker was accused of stealing money from her cash drawer. We have camaras that are on us the entire time we are there. She says she did not take the money but the investigators say she did b/c they have it on video. She has stuck to saying she did not take the money, so she asked to see the video. They refused to show it to her because they said it was evidence. Is this legal? Do they have the right to refuse to show her the video?

More than once 'video' evidence has disappeared. She should hire a lawyer to get a court order. Not only does she need to protect herself from the criminal prosecution, she needs to get her job back.
