Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I am a first time offender on felony deferred probation for possession of a controlled substance. I have never violated probation, I am current on payments but have 200 or so hours of community service left. What happens if I move to Kansas permanently, without permission, pay my fines off and just never come to Texas again? Will they be able to extradite me back to Texas? Would they do it over a first time drug probation?

Yes, you can be extradicted as it is a felony offense. Do your community service so that you can get this completed and seal your record in the future.
