Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Hi thank you for your time and for reading my questions, I have two questions regarding my ex I hope you can help me with.....
1) My ex has not seen my daughter or paid child support since 9/2004. I have filed for criminal non support and he did not answer in the time he was given to. They said he will have a warrant issued and then possibly face the grand jury. What happens when he is under the grand jury? How much time does he spend in jail (owing over $45k).
2) What are my chances of being able to terminate his rights. He had molested her when she was 3 (she is now 11) cps closed the case undetermined bc I moved out of the county to protect my daughter (they were allowing him vistation without supervision). Gov Perry's office looked at my case and said there were many discrepancies and wanted to do a re trial. I refused because she was now 5 and doing better-didn't want her reliving it all again. 2 years after that I found out he had another cps case out of Louisianna from his girlfriend accusing him of molesting her son. That case also closed due to non determiniation. What can I do to help my daughter. I don't care if I continue to get child support. I just want the back support and his rights terminated-can you tell me what are my chances?

1. He could be put in jail until he pays 100% of the back child support.
2. Your chances of getting him terminated are good. Hire a good family lawyer.
