Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Today I got caught with a seed of marijuana and marijuana residue at school in my car and i got charged with possession of drug paraphernilia. Is there any chance that the charges will get dropped? If so what will i have to do? I do have a clean record and this is the first time I get in trouble with the law.

It is impossible to predict the outcome with so little facts.
You need to contact a local defense lawyer.

Anything is possible. If you were arrested, the case may not survive the intake process. But don't get your hopes up. Most do. The best way to try to get a dismissal is to hire an attorney to negotiate with the D.A. If he or she can get the case dismissed a record of the arrest and dismissal will remain. If this is a problem, explain this to your attorney.
Even if your attorney cannot get the case dismissed, it sounds like you might be a candidate for deferred adjudication probation. This probation if successfully completed will not result in a conviction. However you will have to pay court costs, and may have to pay a fine (unless your lawyer can get the court to probate the fine) you will also have to pay probation costs. And the fact of the arrest and the fact you got deferred will remain on your record.
If the case is dismissed you may be able to have it expunged. There will be no record of it. Anywhere.
If you successfully complete deferred adjudication probation you can file a petition for nondisclosure of criminal record. This will also erase your record except for the courts, law enforcement, and certain agencies.
Good Luck!
