unauthorized use of propelled motor vehicle

my friend got drunk so i drove his car with his permission and him in it to a friends house but i have a suspenid driver liscense...we went back to my place and he drank somemore i told him we needed to move car so my dad doesnt know he staying here...i moved it with him to a store parking lot..w went back and he was hitting on me so i wanted him to leave i left on foot to call police when i arrived back to meet the police he had called already to say i stole his vehicle the cops arrested me asking where the car was i told them the last i seen it was when me and him moved it and showed them where it was...the keys were in the seat of the car...i was not driving the car when they found me and hadn't been at all without his permission but i went to jail and got charged...will this be dismissed or could i actually get charged with something i didnt do because he is lieing...i have a prior background with 2 dwi's and he has no background...i have never committed a felony or any other charge...please help so i can know what i am looking at....could i charge him with false accusations

Unfortunately, when you told them that you drove the car, it was enough for them to charge you. It may not be enough to convict you however. You need an attorney to assist in preparing a defense, including witnesses who can substantiate the sequence of events that night.
