Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
my uncle was given a coupon by a friend. he went to the store and used it. upon returning to his friends house, he was surprised it worked and informed me that it was a fake coupon. he paid with a debit card on the purchase. can he get in any legal troubles for this? it was only a 5 dollar off coupon he used at the walmart.

Don't worry about it unless charges are filed.
Don't tell ANYONE (except an attorney) about this.
I doubt criminal charges will be filed.
For a more in-depth analysis of your situation you should consult a local criminal defense attorney.
Good Luck!
