Is it unlawful to sell use of a credit card, without the co-signers permission, then default on the payment?

Sell the use of a credit card? Sounds like credit card fraud. Without the co-signer's permission? Not sure of the effect because generally the co-signer does not have to approve every purchase. If you report that the use was not you and not with your permission you are definitely committing a crime. The way you describe it sounds like you committed a theft at least.
