Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
verifying what investigator told me
I am trying to file criminal charges against someone for distruction of property. The investigator has told me the DA will not follow through with charges because an offer to fix the damage has been made (and only partially fix). My question is, is this accurate on the DA's to not follow through and what do I do next

Re: verifying what investigator told me
If the local law enforcement is not cooperating in an investigation and has informed you the DA will not prosecute such a case, you need to contact the Texas Rangers because they police the police.
