Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I am the victim of an aggravated assault with a motor vehicle which occurred on 4/24/10. I am 10 weeks pregnant and having to see medical attention ASIDE from the OB. Is there ANY way to find out if this man's vehicle has insurance? I'm in Texas, and have his license plate number, but the police did NOT take down his insurance information as the investigator told me that it was not a "car accident". I know that in order to try and get compensation from this man, I need to find out his insurance information before I hire an attorney...
