Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

victim's rights at trial

Can any portion of a victim's record be supressed during a jury trial? We know the defendant's cannot be brought in. The defendant stabbed our son in the back 7 times and almost killed him. We would like to hire a lawyer to discuss presenting victim's rights to the DAO as we feel the DAO is conducting a less-than-vigorous prosecution because my son is a flawed victim (with no violent crimes; alcohol only). Thank you.

Re: victim's rights at trial

Based on what you have written, how is the DA's office conducting a less-than-vigorous prosecution? Conducting a non-vigorous prosecution is generally not the same as an issue associated with victim's rights. If my local criminal defense law firm can assist you with this legal issue or any other legal matter, please contact our office at [email protected] to arrange for an initial consultation.
