Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Violation of no contact / protective order
My x-boyfriend is in jail for repeated assults against me. Last week he was sentenced to 18 years in jail and a no contact order was issued by the judge. The judge said any contact would be considered retaliation. I am already getting letters from him. What should I do? Does he face additional penalties if I turn this in?
