Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
We are waiting for a hearing for probation violatin.. we have been waiting since july 24th and my husband has been sitting in jail since that date waiting. They keep canceling and setting it up 2 weeks later. Can we file a motion to have this put on the docket and get it done and overwith soon?

Does your husband have a lawyer? That is the lawyer's job, to get the matter set for hearing. In some cases, the time spent in jail helps to get the probation reinstated, if the officer can prove the violation occurred.
