waiving probation for enlistment
My son faces possible 240 hours community service, 2 years probation for breaking and entering. What is the possibility of a judge waiving this in exchange for my son to join Naval reserves - a 7 year commitment?

That's an issue for his attorney to try to negotiate with the ADA as a plea bargain, subject to the court's approval. There are far too many factors to speculate as to the viability of this as an option.
