Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I walked up to the counter at 7/11 store to pay for my drink and a bank envelope was laying on counter and I pulled money out of wallet and laid wallet on envelope and then put both in my pocket and walked out. I counted it in my truck and there was 306$. I sat in my truck for a few minutes to see if anyone was going to drive up and run in looking for the money but no one was there looking. Two days later I went back the store and the manager came out and took my plate number down and asked me if I wanted to do the right thing and return the money and I only had 70 on me and I gave that to her as she was on phone with the person that lost the money. My question is can a warrant be put out for my arrest or can any legal action be taken against me.

Yes. The money was not yours and you took it. That is theft and you can be arrested for it.
