I wanted to know how do i get my record cleared or charges marked down?

Well, if you are talking about a straight conviction, there really isn't anything you can realistically do. Once a charge is in place, and there is a plea or a conviction, it does not get reduced to something else.
If you took a deferred adjudication, there is a chance you could file a petition for non-disclosure to seal your record from most private entities.
If the charges were dismissed, or you were found not guilty, you may be eligible for an expunction.
