WELL MY DADS FRIEND IS A LAWYER AND ASKED FOR 5,000 TO DUE MY CASE I HAVE PAID HIM 3,000 SO FAR AND HE SAID HE WOULD TAKE PAYMENTS. I NEVER SIGNED ANY PAPERWORK WITH LAWYER EITHER. HE SAYS I AM CLEAR NOW BUT HE IS STILL WORKING THEM OVER THE PHONE. hE IS ASKING FOR THE REST OF HIS MONEY. MY QUESTION IS. IF MY LAWYER NEVER HAD TO GO TO COURT IS HE STILL INTITLED TO THE REST OF THE MONEY?

Re: Weird case

What do you mean 'the lawyer never had to go to court'? It seems that your perspective is what is weird. Whatever your lawyer did, he managed to resolve the problem without YOU having to go to court. If you have an ounce of sense, you will pay him. He earned it, you agreed to it, and you dodged a bullet.
