Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

whistle blower needing help

I copied documents that would protect me against a coworker who was stealing. She was arrested, 1 million stolen, 1 million bond. on further studying of these docs (copies, no originals) I am 98% sure one of the owners is involved to a greater magnitude. Help 1. copies ok? 2.police want me to continue aiding & haven't seen docs & don't think i'm correct. where do i turn?

Re: whistle blower needing help

Am unclear on your question -- you say that the police want you to continue your assistance in the case, but yet have not seen the paperwork. Further you say that a coworker has been arrested, but the police do not believe you. If you have doubts about the local police department, you can always contact the investigator employed by your District Attorney's office, and you might contact federal authorities if there are federal contracts or monies or banking involved.
