Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I want to know what will happen if I decide to take a charge for someone who is already in jail for possession of a dangerous substance.

You cannot "take a charge". Even if you confess, that does not mean the case against the person will be dismissed. It may, or may not mean, that you will be charged. You should consult in person with a local lawyer.
