Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
what willl happen when i go to court for my first offense of shoplifting at walmart the total was $75 dollars and i had my kids they let me call somebody to pick them up.then i was arrested. i had a 1,500 bond miss. b i got pre trialed out for $45 dollars. this is the first time ive ever been in trouble. what should i expect at court?

You might try applying for pre-trial diversion, although the fact that you had your children with you will not sit well with the prosecutor. If you cannot get pre-trial diversion (through the assistance of your lawyer), then you should get no worse than a deferred adjudication probation.
