Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Withholding of Funds
My husband and I hired a realtor to manage our property while we are overseas. The house rented in mid-November. Two months later, she has not deposited any of the rent she received into our account. We are attempting to resolve matters peacefully, but I want to know what legal recourse I have should that fail. I do not know whether to pursue this under contract law, criminal law, or real estate law.

Contract law may be a good avenue to pursue. When was the contract signed? Do you have a copy of it that can be reviewed? Are you still overseas?
