Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
A woman was involved in domestic violence where her boyfriend was arrested, but the boyfriend was having the girlfriend prostitute. So can the police use a text on their phone to persue legal action against someone and even arrest them if the texts occured before the arrest?

Depends on if they get enough evidence and if the evidence they obtain off the phone is obtained legally.
