Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
hi i was wondering if you can help me with something. i am 17 years old and i have been dating a 15 year old for going on what will be a year in august. her parents have aloud us to be together and even live together but they always threaten me with police if we dont follow every little thing they say. me and her want to get married and i was wondering can her parents press charges even though they have given consent for this long?

Because she is under 17, she cannot legally consent to having sex with you. However, it is a defense to prosecution that the two of you are less than three years apart in age.
