Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
why woudn't charges be filed?
My lawyer found out I wasn't going to be prosecuted for obtaining a controlled substance by fraud in Harris County. He didn't really give me a reason as to why and I was so happy I forgot to ask. What would be the reasoning for this? I was obviously guilty and would have probably pleaded as such. I was never questioned or arrested either.
