Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Written Answer
I have been sued, and the citation says that I need to file a written response to the county clerk. What do they mean by a written response, what does it have to include?

Lawsuits contain various and different types of causes of action. Many require only a general denial. Many others require specific pleadings to protect your rights, objections and defenses. You can retain an attorney with knowledge of these defenses, or you can go to the county law library to research the issues pertaining to your situation.
