I was wrongfully accused by bank of america and arrested for forgery because i went into the branch and tried to verify if a check (in my name) that i received in the mail. they arrested me saying that i "forged" or made the check myself the charges are still pending because it is recent and i havent went to court for it yet. whether i am covicted or not, would this qualify for a lawsuit? this is in the dallas county area.

Before you decide that you are innocent you need to hire a criminal defense attorney and review your options with him. Banks are very sensitive to forgery especially with printed checks.
