If you did not do it, you should ask your attorney about taking your case to trial.
Burglary of a habitation is a second degree felony punishable by a fine of up to $10,000 and a prison sentence of at least two and up twenty years in prison. The offense can be increased to a first degree felony punishable by up to 99 years in prison if you are found to be a habitual felon.
If you are found guilty, the actual sentence depends on a number of factors that should be discussed with your attorney, first on the list is whether you have any prior felonies and/or misdemeanors. Another issue is whether you are on parole or probation for another offense.
