Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Texas

a 17 year old girl had a baby by a 14 year old boy can she be charge for having sex with a minor.

And can she file child support on him.

As I read 22.011 of the Texas Penal Code, the 17-year-old girl has technically committed a crime. She probably won't be prosecuted for it.

And yes, she can sue the 14-year-old father for child support. Personally, I'd wait a few years.
