Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Texas

Age discrimination legal action

My father is 58 years old and has recently resigned from his job of the last 15 years due to what he believes is ageism. He feel he has no way to prove this but, he has a flawless history with this company and has been promoted several times. This company over the last year has slowly made his job unbearable. A friend who works with him did warn him before he resigned, saying my father was targeted and they were looking for reasons to fire him. Is there anything he can do?
