False accusation leading to suspension
My husband works for a satellite dish installation company. Today he was suspended for 3 days because a customer he recently had, accused him of stealing her son�s Ipod, because they cannot find it. There is absolutely no evidence. We both make a comfortable living. My husband�s supervisor stated that the head manager was actually going to terminate him, but his supervisor convinced him to just suspend him. This is utterly preposterous. The lady called in and said if my husband returns the ipod, she will not press charges. Of course, we know she can�t anyhow because he didn�t steal it and she has no proof. Are there any grounds for suing either or both parties? I just can�t bare to see him take this lying down, although we are counting our blessings he didn�t get fired at such a harsh time with the economy, we still want to make sure he knows his rights and he makes sure his workplace knows he takes false accusations seriously. Please advise.

You could sue both, but he will lose his job and lawsuits take a year at the minimum, and would cost at least $5000 and more if appeals...Truth is a defense...so why would she accuse your husband??if he has a record, it could be used against him...
Call us if you wish to proceed..and he must file within a year of the accusation..we would need complete history..etc to take the case or we would be misleading you
