I am 19 years old and awaiting trial on a DWI and am wondering if a conviction will affect my ability to apply for a visa to live in France. I want to move there especially if I get a conviction. Any help on this matter would be appreciated.

It won't affect your ability to apply for a Visa. It might affect your ability to obtain one. Canada and England will reject you if you have been convicted of DWI or any other serious misdemeanor or felony. I don't know about France, but you can assume they would not allow you to enter the country.
