Went out had one drink but only part of it. Than was feeling sick went to bathroom. Than was leaving. At this time was sitting in truck locked in ready to go when some man and woman was approaching me. I than felt scared than drove off to go home. Than as I was driving off the same man and woman proceeded to follow me. They were very very close behind me which made me feel very uneasy so I pulled over on the side of the road thinking they would pass. They at this point got out of their SUV and approached me once again. I cracked the window to see what they wanted still had my truck running so I could take off if needed. Than they asked if I had been drinking I said ahh why what do u want?? They never once told me they were under cover cops. Than they told me well the cops are on the way you need to go on up a little ways and park turn your head lights off and truck off. So I did so thinking they may of been trying to help me out. Than as soon as I did so they pulled up behind me. And than I saw flashing lights. When the cop asked for my ID I didn\'t have it because I had left it where I was at that night. And didn\'t know it. I than was (not hand cuffed) and just put in the back of the cop car and took in on a DWI. They never once gave me any tests to prove I had too much to drink. Nor did they see my ID the whole time. Even after I went to holding they never gave me any test of any kind nor saw my ID.

So what is your question?
If you are wanting to know if they have enough to convict you for DWI, it sounds like you should set the case to trial. They may have a hard time proving intoxication without any tests.
