Ok this isn't a DUI or drunk driving i didnt know what law this falls under.
so my sister who is 17 is being charged with a MIC and MIP for admitting to having a sip of beer and was not drunk the cop searched her vehicle and someone else's that was with her the cop found nothing and she did not take a breathalyzer the cop told my sister to rid with him to the station while he told two other miners that are being charged with the same thing for them to follow him in my sisters car to station on the ticket all the information is wrong and the judge is being real harsh and is slapping everyone involved with big fines is there any way to fight the charges or what is the best thing to do?

The best thing is to hire an attorney to review the facts and law and tell your sister what her options are, which would include fighting the charges.
