Legal Question in DUI Law in Texas

I got a dui 3 years ago. Every two weeks I went to my court appointment and told them I couldn't afford a lawyer. They told me to come back in two weeks with a lawyer. This happened for 8 months until I moved away. I have moved back and been here in Texas a year, and today at work my boss gave me a missed call message, from a constable looking for me. I have done nothing since then wrong and for 8 months I tried to do what I should for it. I'd appreciate any information that can help me.

What I am reading is that for over two years you were out of the state and did not make contact with the court. That constable is probably planning to arrest you on a capias for FTA. Hire a lawyer today, there are plenty that will work with you on payments or arrangements.
