Legal Question in DUI Law in Texas

DWI Arrest

I had had 3 beers at my house and I

later realized my calf had gotten out so

I went down to put it up. It was just

down the road from the house, about

50 - 100 yards. A sheriff stops and

talks to me for about 20 minutes and

then goes to leave and tells me to have

a good evening. Well I got in the truck

and pulled off my land onto the county

road to head home and we live in the

middle of nowhere. He turned his lights

on and arrested me and gave me a DWI.

I asked him if I could just leave my

truck on my land or take it to the house

and he said no and had it towed. On the

account that I was headed back to the

house on a dirt road which was 50 -

100 yards away, do I have a chance to

get the DWI dropped in court or not so

that it doesn't go on my record?
