Legal Question in DUI Law in Texas

second dwi conviction
my husband just got his second dwi in texas, he has court on 06/16/08. He had a court before this date and the judge is going to give him 180 days in jail unless we can pay a large sum to make those days less. My question is around what amount is fair to offer in oder for him to get 70 days work release and if there is any other options we can give the judge like, probation, community service, or AA classes in order the jail time to be redused? Thank you your advise will be greatly appreciated.

What are you talking about, 'pay a large sum to make those days less' ? That is a disconcerting statement.
