It is unlikely that they are continuously actively looking for you. Periodically, law enforcement in any given area will pull some fugitive warrants and search out the offenders. Otherwise, most fugitive warrants are routinely resolved in a traffic stop, driver's license renewal, angry girlfriend, etc.
