i had a dwi recently and did not realize that my job may let me go because it shows on my mvr. is there any way to get that off my mvr?

No way. It will be on your driving record for two reasons - a suspension resulting from the failure of or refusal to take the breath test, and for the DWI conviction itself (if you did not get probation.) They only way they come off is if you go to trial and are found not guilty. (A dismissal will not even get the license suspension off your record.)
