Re: Dwi

Each case varies, but generally:

Up to $2000 in fines, 72 hours to 6 months in jail, alcohol and drug evaluations, DWI classes.

ALR driver's license suspension. If suspended, then ODL costs and restrictions, and DPS surcharges.

Insurance increases.

Re: Dwi

Hello there,

Penalties for a class (b) misdemeanour dwi are anywhere from (0) days in jail up to (180) days and up to a $2,000 fine.

One is delegable for probation if they do not have any felony convictions.

If a breath specimen was given in excess of .15 you will have to also pay the State of Texas $1,500 a year for three years to have a drivers license.

There is also an administrative license suspension of up to 180 days if a breath specimen was not given. If submitted your license will be suspended for up to 90 days.

Sincerely,

Erick Platten
