DWI in Texas
I have been convicted of 2 DWI's in Texas, within 5 months of each other. Is there any way to get my DWIs covered up in any way. Every job I apply for turns me down for having that on my record. I am still on probation with 4 months left. I haven't had any more incidents since the arrest. There must be something I can do.

Regretfully, your convictions for DWI are permanent and will be accessible through public data base services and the Department of Public Safety criminal history website. Your only option, which is a very long shot, is it attack your DWI convictions through habeas corpus and hope to get them reversed and remanded for new trials. This way you might get a second "bite at the apple." Good luck.

Hello there,
Unfortunately, dwi convictions stay on your record for life.
