Dwi
I had a DWI some time ago and paid all fees and did the required by law expectations. I am looking for a job and some applications ask the question. By law do I need to disclose the dwi even though it is finished?

Re: Dwi
Normally the question asks if you have been convicted. Most DWI's are straight probation, which means that you were convicted. Which means you have to check YES. If by chance, you got deferred adjudication, then the case was dismissed and you would not have a conviction. The only way to be sure is to contact the clerk of the court and ask them, or ask for a copy of your file.
