Failer to appear in court

I have a friend who got a dwi in texas in 2002 he never went to court and moved to out of the counrty for 4 yrs and has just moved back what does he need to do and what can happen

There is likely an arrest warrant for your friend. If found, he will be arrested and prosecuted for the DWI. His best option is to consult an attorney about how to surrender and begin the process without spending a lot of pre-trial time in jail.
