I was involved in a one car accident Feb. 18th and taken to the hospital. When I woke I was being guarded by a policeman who said I was being detained for suspicion of dwi. I spent 2 days in hospital and then the officer just up and said I was free to go. They were gonna take me down to the jail and book me when the hospital discharged me but that never happened. Said they may issue a warrant out for me at a later time but I was free to go. It will be a month on Wednesday and I haven't been charged with anything. I left a message with the detective handling my case but never got a callback. What can I do and what do you think is taking so long if they have my blood test?

Here are some possibilities:
1. They took the test and it showed you were below .08 and had no drugs.
2. They lost the sample.
3. The test is not complete.
To get more info, I suggest you get a copy of the police report.
