Ist time DWI

How much would it cost me to have an attorney to represent my case? I live in Austin Tx. and was arrested in Aransas Pass Tx. I want to get an attorney down there to represent me so I won't, if possible, have to make the trip.

And the other ? is, if I didn't blow and did well on the sober. test, will I have a good chance to plea innocent and have the charge wiped off my record?

As to what an attorney costs for this case, you will find people who are very cheap and others who are quite expensive. Lawyers usually know what their services are worth, so you will generally get exactly what you pay for.

It is VERY unlikely that you will be able to avoid going down there for court, no matter who you hire.

As far as the chances of getting this thing completely off your record, your only chance to do that is to either get it dismissed entirely, or be acquitted.

Unfortunately, there is no free lunch.

You might try contacting an attorney in Corpus Christi about your case. Most of attorneys who handle DWI�s will also take a case in Aransas Pass.

As for the fee it will vary greatly depending on the experience and qualifications of the attorney.
