How long until my DWI stops affecting my insurance costs as much (Texas)?
I received my DWI around March 2014 at the age of 19 and got my conviction around November of that same year. Thankfully, since the almost 3 years have passed, I've recovered fairly well, have learned from my mistake, and I've relatively moved on since then; paid off my restitution, served everything I have needed to, and my SR22 has come off; only thing I'm left with is the permanent hiccup on my record and increased insurance rates.
I was wondering if anyone could give me an approximate answer as to when my insurance rates would start slowly tapering down; will it happen when I turn 25, or is there a certain number of years after my conviction where it will start dropping?

Call your (or any) insurance company for the best answer. Criminal lawyers don't really do insurance law.
