minor under the influence
My 17 year old son was pulled over for a headlight out and was given a breathalizer that showed he had been drinking but not drunk. Can he receive deferred judification? He has plans to join the Marines in June. He is in the early sign up program now. I do not know how all this works, what we should do next. I wonder if he can do community service to work off the ticket cost? This is his first *hopefully last* offense. What a mess. Thank you for your help

Get him a lawyer. He needs a clean record to start off on the right foot, and a good lawyer is your best chance to accomplish that. Good luck.
