Minor in Possession Texas Law

I was riding on a boat with 16 people. We were stopped and all minors (7) were given MIPs. We all blew a 0.00 reading. There was alcohol at the front of the boat but we were all seated at the rear. Should I try to fight this? How do I keep this off my record?

Maybe. A lawyer would need more information to be able to tell you. The zero reading is why your ticket was only for MIP. The statements adn relationships of the adults on board as to ownership of the alcohol are important.

If you take a plea to deferred, and successfully complete it, it will be dismissed, and you can later get it taken off.
