I am sure things vary in Texas. In my experience, missing your court date has more to do with your bond than with the outcome of your case. Your bondsman may want to go off bond, which means that you would have to go to jail until another bond is obtained. The court is likely to increase the bond.

My suggestion is that you hire an experienced criminal defense attorney to help you on this if you have not already done so. Even if there is a warrant out for your arrest, is possible for you to walk into court, and resolve the case with a plea bargain. Once you are sentenced, there is no bond. The only problem you might have is that if the court called for your bondsman to pay the amount of the bond to the court you would owe that to the bondsman.
