My mother was arrested for DUI and was booked in to jail. She was not under the influence of any thing that she doesnt require medically to take. Do we have a case?

Even if one is prescribed medication, one cannot drive under the influence of that medication if it makes one intoxicated - less than normal. Whether or not your mother has a defendable case depends on many factors. She needs a lawyer. (And in Texas, it is DWI, no DUI.)
